🌴 From Indoors to Outdoors: How Training on the Beach Changed My Fitness
When I moved to Rio, I stumbled across Baby Sports—a group functional training experience held right on the beach. I figured I’d try something new… and I haven’t looked back since.
No machines, no mirrors—just the sound of waves, sand under my feet, and a powerful group energy.
💪 A Whole New Way to Move
I’ve been working out in gyms for years. But these workouts?
They hit different.
- What changed:
- I was using muscles I didn’t know I wasn’t targeting.
- My stamina and strength shot up in just a few weeks.
- I developed a deeper connection to functional movement.
- I enjoyed it—because it felt like play, not punishment.

☀️ Waking Up Early, Feeling Alive
Starting my day outside changed everything. The fresh air, the energy, the sunrise—it all set the tone for the rest of my day.
I stopped dreading mornings. I actually look forward to them now.
And when I train before 8 a.m.? I feel more focused, productive, and grounded the rest of the day.

I’m still a fan of lifting in the gym—but now, I see movement differently. I crave it. Not just for the results, but for how it makes me feel.
